The archivist examines a sealed letter through a magnifying glass, in a great glass-roofed hall of letters.

Everything you've written, kept and findable.

The Archivist is a lifelong, private archive of your email and notes. Search it by meaning, ask it questions, and let your AI agents use it. Every answer and every fact links to the passage it came from.

We'll only use your address to invite you to the beta. Privacy

What it does

The archivist sorts through long rows of filed letters.

Search by meaning and by words

Find anything across decades of email and notes, even when you don't remember the words. Ask a question and get an answer that cites its sources.

The archivist takes a call and notes it in a ledger.

People and a timeline

A curator reads your correspondence and builds profiles of the people in it and a timeline of what happened. Each fact links to its passage, unsure ones wait for you, and your corrections always win.

The archivist hands a bundle of letters across the counter.

Your agents, with your memory

Connect Claude or any MCP client, and it can search your archive on your behalf, quoting what it finds.

Letters arrive through brass pneumatic tubes.

Your sources

Email accounts over IMAP, Obsidian vaults through a plugin (planned), and folders uploaded from your computer or kept in Dropbox (planned). Nothing to install.

Private by design

The archivist seals a letter into a tube.
  • Your archive is stored in the EU, in a database of its own.
  • The AI models are hosted by Cloudflare. Nothing is sent to other AI providers.
  • Nothing you store is used to train models.
  • Export everything or delete your account at any time.
  • One caveat: Cloudflare doesn't yet promise that model processing stays in the EU. We'll say so here when it does.

Who makes it

A courier gallops along a coastal path with a satchel of post.

The Archivist is made by Code Ministry Ltd, a small UK company, as the sibling of The Librarian, a memory for AI agents. It's in a closed beta while we make sure it's good. Ask for a place, and we'll write when there is one.
